Christmas Eve in 2006 was spent with my best friend, Felicia at Paulaners. We met Timothy, who was my colleague in UBS back then & seeing that they couldn't get a table, we offered to ask them to join us at our table. The night was fun! We even had free party packs! Those were the days..

My cousin Stephanie held her wedding on 9th Dec 2006 at Corpthorne King's hotel. It was a very grand & beautiful wedding. Meeting up with relatives and cousins was heart-warming.
My little cousin Qing Yu..

After the wedding ended, i decided to go for drinks with my cousin, Darren..the only one whom i actually clicked with. The disaster soon began.. God knows what came over me & i ended up dead drunk. We started our 1st stop at Barcelona, Mohd Sultan & we finished a bucket of heineken within an hour. Next, we went to Tivoli & ordered more beer. The 3rd stop was at the Pump Room & i met up with Naz, who used to work there.. that was when we started drinking like no tomorrow. We each had 2 coronas, then a tray of sex on the beach, followed by a tray of B52. I remember leaving The Pump Room feeling very very high.. When you thought it was the end, nope.. we continued to roam around Clarke Quay & we went to this club ( i forgotten the name) & we ordered 2 more jugs of tiger. finished it within 45mins and i ended up dead drunk on the cab on my way home. The next 2 days was extremely bad hangovers..with lotsa puking & headache.

Yes, UBS has got 2 DnD every year. One for the whole bank, and one for only Wealth Management. The WM DnD (2nd Oct 2006) is slightly smaller in size than the UBS one BUT.......... the food was sooooooo much nicer. Over at Ritz Carlton, we had a 5 course dinner. However, at Hyatt, it's a sumptuous 8 course dinner. The theme selected for that year was Pirates of the Caribbean. Most of them were dressed according to the theme. I remember seating with my WMO team, but thank goodness Danny came over & "abducted" me over to his table and i felt so much at ease!
The food was good, the company was good & the drinking part was even better. The dinner and lucky draw ended at 10.30pm but a group of us stayed behind to enjoy the music, drinks & wild dancing.

I ended the night meeting my best friend Felicia for drinks at our usual hangout, Paulaners. :)

All of us sacrificed our precious Saturday and came back together on 25th Nov 06 to decorate the place. We started from 11am and only ended at 8pm. Though it was tiring but all of us had lots of fun, Choon How being the only guy was the one hanging the ornaments on the ceiling while the rest of us did the setting up on the Christmas trees etc. so...check out the place now! isn't it nice? Oh, and i caught people taking photos with the X'mas trees for the next few days when i came to work.. =P

A Group photo of all of us who put in the hard work & effort... (Ellen left early though so she's not in the picture)

It was on thurs, 23rd Nov 06, me, Jac, Ellen and Choon How had just finish buying all the Christmas ornaments and decorations at Concourse. We got the tree from Carrefour. We were assigned to decorate level 6, where WMO office is, with Christmas trees and ornaments. After much discussion, i managed to convince all of them that the X'mas theme colour would be purple! After the tiring trip to Carrefour and Concourse, me, Jac & Ellen decided to grab a beer at Balaclava before we call it a night..

This was my first DnD at UBS since i joined in April 2006. I had never seen so many tables at a DnD ever, i think there was close to a 100 tables. The theme for the 2006 DnD was Formula One, so alot of people turned up in their favourite F1 jersey etc. The food was so-so, but the prizes were soo attractive that it made sure no one left early.. i was seated with my team in WMO but i felt kinda awkward since i wasn't really very close to most of them as my job is a one-man-show. Nevertheless, i took some photos with those who were closer to me and i ended the night by joining my poly mates for ktv session at KBOX.

I only have photos from this date so i shall start from here.. earlier ones were gone due to my previous PC crash.
Wealth Management Ops in UBS have a yearly off-site trip, mainly for team bonding purposes. It's a 3 day trip to Bangkok from 27th Oct to 29th Oct 2006. All of us knocked off slightly earlier that day so that we could catch the evening 8pm flight to Bangkok on friday.
I remember sharing a room with Serena, my colleague & both of us were soooo tired we fell asleep by 1am that night. The next morning, all of us had be be up by 7am & right after breakfast, we started our "team-bonding" activities. We were split into 10 groups i think, and our group was named " Top-Ten". I can't remember who came up with this group name. i haven't went out into the sun for the longest time since secondary school days. Each team had to build a racing pushcart with whatever materials that we given to us & at the end of it, there was a race. Obviously, our team did not win but all of us had lotsa fun..though i was grumpy after the trip due to being sun-burnt.. After the games ended at 4pm (we were out in the sun since 9am till 4pm) we had a mini D&D at the hotel and all of us indulged in some delicious thai food & games. Sunday was ended with last minute shopping at the malls before we catch our evening flight back home to Singapore.
Well i guess this offsite trip met it's purpose of team bonding and i got to know a few more friends in UBS. :)

As i'm officially now a full time student ONLY.. i reckon i should start a blog noting down all the things that happened in my life over the past few years..of course only those i can still remember.. i have a bad memory, people who knows me should know that.
haha.. so get ready for a long long trip down my memory lane.
